It all started with a small backyard herb garden, two spoiled taste testers (Remmy and Oliver), and a simple need to unplug after a long 9-5 day.
One raised bed led to another, and soon we were raising chicks, up to our ears in zucchini, and building a full blown chicken mansion from the ground up (with plenty of “help” from the dogs too, of course).
Remmy and Oliver were there for every step - getting in the way of construction, digging holes (most of which we didn’t ask for..), taste-testing eggs and new vegetables (even when they were NOT given permission) …. you get the picture. But their excitement to just be involved, inspired us to lean into this slower life, continue to expand our backyard sanctuary, and dream a little bigger!
So we did.
We are now in progress of building a farm stand to host on our property in Gilbert, dreaming of joining local farmers markets, and sharing our love for this life with you! We hope to be your new favorite local vendor for farm fresh eggs, seasonal produce, baked goods, home dried herbs / spice mixes, hand crafted gifts, and so much more!
